In the summer of 1973, about 36 years ago now, three of my friends and I decided we wanted to do a photo book befitting the times of sexual liberation, flower children everywhere, after all Hugh Heffner had invented sex in America several years before. Besides, it was a welcome change from covering football games, fashion or food illustrations. The story was based on the ancient Greek tale of Medea, Jason and Creusa. The late George Murray, former Beacon Journal writer, did the words for it, not included here, when he had all his ducks in a row he would write poetically. We had a lot of fun, no money changed hands, agreeing that if it was published we would divide the spoils, alas, after several rejections for it not being explicit enough it lingered on a shelf for a third of a century. I don't know where the originals got to so these are copies from a mounted presentation book to preserve them digitally. Only about a third are shown here. I titled this section 'R Rated' in the hopes that adults viewing these pictures will keep them from children. Enjoy. ..Ott
